Extensive research has shown that a new members class is vital to retaining people in a local church. But new followers of Christ also need daily inspiration and teaching all week long. That’s why helping new believers begin a daily devotional life can never be done too soon.

Of all that a new believer needs to become a fully devoted follower of Christ (sound biblical doctrine, the Spirit’s empowerment for living, and a church where they can develop spiritually) nothing is more critical than a growing personal relationship with Jesus.
